The LTOA were pleased to have been asked to chair a session at the recent TPBE II in Birmingham.
LTOA vice chair, Richard Edwards, chaired the session with speakers Dr Kathleen Wolf, Research Social Scientist from the University of Washington, Seattle giving an over view of the research she and others have been undertaking to discover, understand and communicate human behaviour and the benefits as people experience nature in towns and cities. Dr Heather Rumble of the Forestry Commission, Forest Research UK, presented her findings on i-tree Eco projects undertaken at Torbay, Wrexham, Edinburgh and Glasgow it will be interesting to see how these compare with the London project being undertaken this summer.
